2018 Ford F-150 Specs
The 2018 Ford F-150 comes with five powerful and distinct engine choices. New this year is the standard 3.3-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine, which generates up to 290 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine features twin independent variable cam timing and two injectors per cylinder. It pairs well with a six-speed automatic transmission, which includes three selectable shift modes of normal, tow-haul or sport. Also available is the high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost® engine and the 3.0-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel (coming out in the Spring). The beefiest of the engines is the 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine with Auto Start/Stop Technology. This beast reaches up to 395 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque and delivers Best in Class towing, when properly equipped. This engine is paired with a highly efficient 10-speed automatic transmission, which comes complete with four separate shifting modes that include tow/haul, snow/wet, EcoSelect and sport mode.
