The 2021 Kia Sportage comes in four distinct trim levels. The base trim – the LX – includes many standard features, such as a six-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™, an 8-inch touch screen display, rear privacy glass, and selectable driving modes. Safety features include a driver attention monitor, lane-keeping assist, departure warning, and forward collision mitigation. The S trim adds onto the LX, with features including fog lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated, power-folding mirrors, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert. Moving up to the EX adds more features, such as a hands-free tailgate, keyless entry and ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter. The top trim is the SX Turbo, which is filled with exclusive features, including black roof rails, heated flat-bottom steering wheel, paddle shifters, power-adjustable front passenger seat, navigation system and satellite radio and front and rear parking sensors. The 2021 Kia Sportage is available with either front-wheel drive or the optional all-wheel drive. There are two engines available on the Sportage. The first is a 2.4 liter inline four cylinder engine with direct injection, variable valve timing, and 16 valves. This engine generates 181 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque. The other engine is a 2.0 liter, four-cylinder turbo, 16 valve engine with double overhead cams. Both engines are paired with a six-speed shiftable automatic transmission.
