So many electric vehicles (EVs) are coming available in 2022. Gone are the days where you only had a few to choose from. Now, almost every maker has an EV! EVs are great options to help drivers save money on fuel, protect the environment and get wonderful performance. Here’s a roundup of some of the EVs we can expect to see this year:Â
This will be a big year for BMW with their 2023 i4 and iX electric vehicles all coming to market in 2022. The i4 is a 4-door hatchback coupe and the iX is an SUV. Both will have an EPA-estimated range of about 300 miles. The iX will also have an M60 model that will offer some extras including more horsepower. Â

Delivery of reserved vehicles is anticipated to begin spring of this year. The extended range battery has an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles.Â
The new Honda crossover will have four different model options and will be coming to dealerships in the first half of 2022. No official EPA-estimated mileage has been released yet, but we’re excited to see what Honda has in store for not only fuel efficiency, but interior design and added features. Â
Coming early 2022, the IONIQ 5 is helping Hyundai meet its goal to be carbon neutral by 2045. The new SUV offers four trim levels including the option to add their performance driven HTRAC AWD powertrain. Reservations are currently closed, but you might still be able to snag one when they arrive on the lot.Â
The Kia EV6 should be shipping at the beginning of 2022 with the GT model following later this year. The crossover is super quick, going from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. It also features ultra-fast charging with the ability to get up to 210 miles in only 18 minutes. It has an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles. Â
This SUV is expected mid-2022 and is made for adventuring as it offers Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It also has 8.3 inches of ground clearance, plenty of cargo room for your gear and twin liftgate spoilers for best aerodynamic performance. The Solterra offers an estimated range of over 220 miles with a full charge.Â
